Things I Wish For
Note to genies, the Devil, Glinda, Palpatine, Mr. Roarke, and other readers with relevant powers: This list is not exhaustive, nor in any particular order. Additionally, while I really want all of this stuff, the level of sacrifice I am willing to make varies greatly from wish to wish. Please contact me personally before granting, so that we can reach agreeable terms. Thanks.
1. To be able to save parking spaces for later.
2. When my iPod starts to run out of battery in the middle of day, to be able to put a quarter in it and keep it playing.
3. To convince the midichlorians to wipe out teb's melanoma.
4. To understand Lucy's language when she is obviously upset (or any other time for that matter).
5. A nice long win streak. Or at least a not-looking-pathetic streak.

Posted by Dana on August 9, 2005 04:40 PMI know how to save parking spaces for later. Think Chicago winters, Roger.... :-)
Posted by Ingrid on August 9, 2005 06:24 PMDana: Any help on the wishes would be much appreciated. Lucy may be kinda smart as babies go, but she is still struggling with what happens to something when you drop it, so no Nobel prize for physics anytime soon.
Ingrid: So, maybe, I should just leave some ratty old folding chairs in my trunk! That would be awesome.
Posted by Roger on August 10, 2005 10:03 AMThe Cubs have a streak in them, yet I think. Too bad it's in their underwear. I'm getting bitter, over here. Wouldn't be as bad but for the Sox success.
If the midichlorians could fix teb up, I think I'd start to respect them.
